Everytime I go to a site with a quicktime video, firefox has a shit-fit, crashes, and tries to restart. Rinse and repeat.

Anyone know how to fix this, or do I just avoid quicktime videos like the plague?

P.S: On a side note, the reason I trying to watch the quicktime video was because it was the new Modern Warfare 2 trailer. Holy sexy shit.

You could tell Firefox not to use the embedded player, but rather to actually open Quicktime.

Tools --> Options --> Applications

it looks like Apple engineers spend countless hours working... to make sure that quicktime movies will work only in safari xD

tools->add ons->plugins tab, disable quicktime.
