anyone read it?
Yes.
Now, not meaning to be a cunt... but I remember that on multiple occasions you have insulted me for not being able to read it in the 'native tongue', whereas you can. Is this another trollbaiting / bragging-rights thread, or do you actually want to depart from the immature puerile bullshit and say something constructive this time?

I have not, but it sounds highly tedious and the type of thing that only someone pretentious to the extreme would bring up in conversation or on the internet. That, or Wikipedia isn't a good place for book reviews.

I like where this is going.

Several times in one thread, in fact, where the thread and current argument had nothing to do with what books we had read whatsoever.cl4u53w1t2 wrote:

I can only assume Uzi read it because Kerouac considers Proust to be one of his major influences.
You assume wrongly, I've tried to read most classics/examples of canonical literature that catch my interests. This was one of them. Kerouac and the Beatniks make for interesting literature/culture, but they're far from my favourite.ghettoperson wrote:

Fair do's, I was just trying to look knowledgeable from my 3 minutes on Wikipedia.
And since this topic is shit, who would you consider your favourites authors?
