I was 13 at the time, we eventually started dating and only split 6 months later because I moved to Australia.

I recieved one or two very short ones at elementary school as I remember. Never wrote one myself. Did write a poem though, but it was more of a love-lost-frustration poem than anything else, and I obviously never send or read it to her as it didn't matter fuck anymore. I kept shaving on the poem for months afterwards, out of aesthetical/artistic reasons. There is one girl I probably would write/have written on a non casual tone if only she could read it

There is another girl I snail mail regularly, but she is just a casual friend and she didn't had internet at first, so that's why we resorted to snail mail.
