I don't fucking believe it. I logged on today to find out what time my exam was tomorrow, and guess what? It was today. 9:30 as well, so it's not like I could have made the afternoon exam. I always thought this was the kind of mistake that was made by other idiots, not me. RAGE.

Yeah it was pretty important. Final exam of the semester for uni. I can retake it over the summer, it's just a gigantic hassle what with living in another country.

Everyone finds they do exceeedingly dumb shit every so often. Just learn from it and try to make the best of the situation. Sucky situation to be in but "shit happens".

I've done the same (well - not quite the same, but I've missed coursework deadlines then had to take resit exams for them). But for 1st year that's fine.
My uni even posted the dates of my exams wrong once. Fortunately they had it down as being 2 days early, so when I turned up I was told the real time.
I did this for my final exam too - Shakespeare - only I woke up an hour late, immediately called into the department main office and had it arranged to sit the exam in isolation in the Head of Department's office. Actually was an improvement for me: my own little air-conditioned room, a nice cushty office seat and a big room to walk around in and consider my ideas .

Owtch that sucks dude. I'm lucky enough to not have any exams this semester. I do however have a fuckload of essays which explains why it's 2.08am and I'm drinking Red Bull and Berocca and hoping the combination won't do any massive amount of harm to me physically.
