New PSU

The one ive got is fucked. royally fucked. i think i bought it from asda or something stupid.

But yeah, I need a new one for anything less than £100 or so, I'm liking the look of modular ones as I have a shiny see through case and I dont like fucking wires. Any recommendations?

Needs to be about 600W or more I reckon.

Ta.

I'd type my pc specs out all fancy again but teh mods would remove it. Again.

The Corsair is cheaper at OCUK, however, they're out of stock.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. It also depends if the OP is going to upgrade anytime in the near future. Yeah the eathwatts and cx400 are fine for his current rig but why buy that now only to replace it if he gets newer hardware. If he's not going to upgrade any time soon those are fine but if he is the hx620 fits his requests, modular and right at 100 of those funny E looking things.

CX400W is fine for even GTX 275 & C2D, maybe even C2Q.

HX620W can do i7 & GTX 295 just great.
