I see, all our trains around here are EMD's
well, since it is a sectional bridge, they are going to have to redo those last two on each side to make it higher, now the problem is the gap and the angle between the stanchions. was another one supposed to go smack dab in the middle of the train tracks? That would be even more epic if it was.
diesel trains ftw

Those power lines supply poer to the trains on those rails, if they were moved, the rails would have to be moved.Sydney wrote:

whats the big deal about moving power lines????
we lose power all the time in the NE, and Hurricanes devastate the South, Twisters in the Midwest. You act like moving power lines in your country is a big deal

Nature is a powerful force. Those who seek to subdue nature, never do so permanently.
lol they will just attach the power lines to the bottom of the bridge , that's how it works

There is a saying when you given lemons, make lemonade so this is the game plan: Adding ramps at both ends of the bridge will solve all of your burden. Let the people jump over the power lines. /Problem Solved

Wouldn't work.loubot wrote:

People would chicken out of the jump, and therefore causing massive traffic jams.
Unless we find a way to accelerate people without their input, like when jets take off on aircraft carriers.
I like this idea.
Digging out the ground would be a possibility. But then, that ground is probably reinforced to hold the weight of the train and the tracks, so maybe not.
Can't they just hang the powerlines from the bridge or lower them? It can't possibly be that hard. But again, people where just saying "Fuck it" for so long, and this is what happened ...
