Whats a good ISP in Canada, the 905 area code?  I know I saw a link on here before that allowed you to search where you live and it gave you a list of ISPs but I can't find it anymore.  My ISP currently is 10MB/s but has a download limit of 95GB which is killing me.  I saw a few that had unlimited up/down but forgot to bookmark them.

Rogers is usually pretty good.
My dad has Cogeco, I've topped at 2 megabytes per second before.
Anything but Bell really.

Bell is what I'm on and I can't complain. Ask Gooners too, he's also in the 905.

Bell and Rogers both have monthly bandwidth limits unfortunately

Gooners has Rogers cause he probably gets discounts.

Altima seems to have unlimited bandwidth and it's available in Toronto. Somehow it's only $28/month for 24mbps

Quebec fail.

Rogers is what I have, their extreme, hi-speed bullshit crap (essntially the best thing they have) and it blows. So slow.

I really can't give you one in particular, but I'd avoid the big ones (Rogers, Bell, etc...) at all costs.

Btw, I'm in Trin.

Yeah I have Rogers with the stupid 95GB limit that I can break easily in like 2-3 days so we really need to find a new one.  I loved being at U of T since we had really nice speeds and there are tons of ways to get around limits, I was averaging 40GB/week by the end - and was the #1 bandwidth user out of the 80,000 people there

PS - Trin is a cult, you have to wear fucking robes to dinner.  EVERYBODY makes fun of Trinity

Where does it say its availability?  I live in Newmarket so its unlikely that we have it.

I can only agree, their hi speed net is 10 mbps for a shit load of money.

Romania data systems is 100 mbps for like 10 dollars.

Helpful for here

I know I saw someone post links to other ISPs before and I remember checking them out and seeing they had unlimited downloading but I cant find that post or remember what the companies were

Aha, found it!  http://www.canadianisp.ca/cgi-bin/ispse … h&p=ON  It's pretty useful, provides every ISP to my town and a rating of all of them along with links

Lemme know when you find the name. Unlimited downloading sounds very appealing.

Almost all of them do, just select your town from the list. Unfortunately they all have significantly slower speeds than Rogers which isnt that fast in the first place

I'd settle for the equivalent of what I have now, only with unlimited downloading. And the problem is, the service we have now is part of a phone/TV/Internet package. If we get rid of the internet, we have to pay like $40/month more.
