Nothing showing up

I recently bought a new video card and a processor. When I turn the comp on nothing will show up on the screen, no power on KB nor the mouse.
I tried to remove the cmos battery and put it back after a while, still nothing.
Also tried a different video card, didn't work
I am suspecting that the mobo is dead, might be cause I scraped the surface a bit?

Intel Pentium E5200
GF 9800 GT
3GB RAM
PSU 420W +5V=28A, +12V1=14A, +12V2=15A, +3.3=30A, -5V=0.5A, -12V=0,8A, +5Vsb=2.0A

That I think the mobo is dead or that I scraped the mobo with a screw driver(Yes I actually accidentally did it, just a little bit, didn't look like serious damage)

Lol power supplies are tough, than scraping the paint off them won't damage it. Is the computer starting? As in, you can hear it all whirring up, fans spinning etc?

Oops not PSU, mobo. Well, even then, if it's only paint then it should be fine.

Okay well it's either the mobo (which I suspect) or the graphics card. Try swapping your graphics card and other parts into another computer, to see if they're still working.

I had symptoms like that on my other PC while back, turned out to be broken RAM stick. Try starting with only one stick of RAM installed

Both RAMs working
Not that deep, but the mobo is shit anyways and I have been thinking of buying a new one so I guess i'll just do that

When you say you scraped it, you mean you just hit it with a screwdriver, or you did visible damage?

Visible damage, the screw driver was like rubbing against the mobo, was putting the screw driver under the backplate and mved it around a bit, difficult to explain...

Even slight scratch can damage the circuit. Especially if you hit near CPU socket.

Taking the backplate off so I could put my new cooler there, got too excited and quickly grabbed just something and stuck it in there and this is the result, a broken mobo
