BF2S Forums I'd love to know your opinions guys, bad or good. Lay it on me.

It most likely won't save BF2, mostly as every game slowly fades away. However it may well attract a few people back at least for a few games, that's what's happened to me anyway.

Also hai to anyone who was on BF2s about 2 years ago, odd seeing names on the Online Users bar that you actually remember.

Bf2 doesn't need to be saved.

the game industry sucks balls at the moment, nothing good is out, and nothing will come close to the gameplay of Battlefield 2 (let alone quality) for the next 5 years. Look at counter strike for fuck sake.

There are like 10 highly populated servers in Europe and they are not always populated

All im trying to say is that theres loads of servers to play on, its popular throught the world the game definately doesnt need saving, even though its nearly half a decade old, look at UT3 that hasnt even been out that long that needs saving majorly

Obviously you're not as good as me as I'm banned on 3/4 of EU servers hehe

Hit reg is the only thing I want fix.  I prefer to shot someone of grenades/jets/tanks or anthing else in the game.

which is why there is 20+ servers that are full, both 64 player and 32 player, thats just infantry mode aswell. Go die in a well, because its obviously where you live.

Im bored of reading people saying BF2 is dead, even new people are joining every day and theres more than enough servers to play on, like I said it looks stupid saying BF2 is dead when you look at UT3, and UT3 is a good game and hasn't been out nowhere near as long as BF2, and no one plays UT3 at all, and loads and loads of people play BF2.
COD4 is for noobs which is why its so populated, its quick and anyone can play it and seem good on it, it's what keeps people playing

Being honest, CSS had such an appeal to me because of the first person spectator mode. Most players get involved in eSports at one stage and BF2 just didn't have the qualities such as SourceTV or FP spectating. Playing the game is one thing but it's also entertaining to follow your favourite teams our players or even just watch your friends play. It would also have helped a lot with the cheating aspect of the game.

a new patch wont pull me back to BF2... hell freakin no. a new patch 2 years ago maybe but its too late for me to jump into the BF2 bandwagon again. ill wait and see about BF3 since they announced they are making it.

As usual, this patch wont do much, just make stuff worse. In my opinion it's not EA:s or DICE:s fault, it's the peoples fault who play this game, we whine about this and that, EA tries to fix it and it all ends up shit.

Great game. I have always been satisfied the way the game is, it's a GAME after all. I wont stop playing it until all the servers are gone and not a single player plays anymore on this goddamn planet. But that point is far away from here. BF2 is the greatest game ever.

This game is not dead yet, no, it's heart is still pumping, not even near dead, lots of servers and player. Why quit playing?
