Yeah although the setting on the map seems cool I just find it boring. Oh and I cant stand Dragon Valley anymore!

I like it because:
Its beutifull, likes to be wandering there,
you need a tactical combat, you just cant run into flags and stand there
you dont have a certain felling of whats exactly going on like in wake, karkand or sharqui..
I think it would be interesting to have a base on either side of the mountain further out that the current hill bases. Make these bases uncap. I think that would make the map even better in my eyes. Otherwise I like that map still.

its a great map. they need to minus some apcs. but other then that its the only map you can really sneak around in through the bushes. and in the jungle and stuff

I absolutely hate it. There's an APC at every capture point! The map is purely about APCs, so the only fun i have on it is mine spamming in the grass/water really
I personally like it, it's fun and realistic.
Also, yes it does help in hiding and I love Asia so bieng in China is just a privledge.

I LOVE THIS MAP ive been playing it on single player a little bit and i love it its my 2nd favorite next to FuShe Pass!!!!

My favorite normal BF2 map is either Mashtuur or Karkand or Sharqi; the city maps. Don't really like this one too much though.

Yeah I agree. That is about the only map in BF2 I can't stand playing.
I like all the maps, including Shongua Stalemate. It just requires different tactics than what you learn from 500 hours of Karkand.
I love Shongua! I love stealth! I love sniping! Those three are a match made in heaven!
This map is awful - do remove it from servers - as soon as it comes on I simply log onto another server
I think that Songhua is one of the best maps around. Especially for snipers. It is so cool. I wish people would put it into rotation more often. Infact I wonder why nobodys done a 24/7 Songhua server. Not having one is bullshit.
I wish there was a 24/7 songhua server as well. There should be one such server for every map!
I've almost exclusively played this map lately to get to know it. I think the boats are underestimated. You can get quickly to most other flags with them, and best of all, you can come in through the "back door". Unfortunately most people drive them on the roads like any vehicle.
The homebases is lost quickly, they take too much effort to take back. A positive side effect of this is that arty is down often.
If you assume that enemies will spawn at either of the closest flags to yours, there are often flags that are located behind them if you need an easy capture.
