So, does anyone else watch this show? I got hooked a few weeks ago and am currently on season 3, episode 8.

During the day, Dexter Morgan is a jovial employee in the Miami Metropolitan Police Department's crime lab, but his meticulously crafted life masks his true nature. In reality Dexter is a disciplined and murderous psychopath (a self-admitted "monster"), and he slakes his blood lust at night by carefully killing the serial killers he tracks down during the day.

Gotta be a favorite of those people advocating beatdowns for those' obvious criminals'.
Personally I don't think this show should exist. It is one thing for common people to catch murderers and other sorts of criminals and then have the police arrest them; and a complete other to glorify murder in the guise of vigillanteism.

The US economy is a giant Ponzi scheme. And 'to big to fail' is code speak for 'niahnahniahniahnah 99 percenters'

Valid opinion, but if you phrase it like that then quite a few shows shouldn't be on the air in your books. just as an example (probably a poor one), you could say that Prison Break shouldn't be on TV as it glorifies breaking out of prison, murder and all the rest of it

either way im hooked on this Just watched another two episodes - can't wait for series 4!

Seen all of 'em which is rare for me as I usually end up losing interest but with this I was hooked. Saw the first episode on TV one night and ended downloading and watching like 4 others that night. Within about a week I'd watched the first 2 series, just recently finished watching the 3rd series and I'm still loving it, just gotta wait till season 4 now though

Seen every episode. The show has gone down dramatically in regards to plot development and content. The character development is downright horrible, which I attribute to new characters being added outside the original storyline. I think they spend too much time on dialogue in trying to develop the characters when they should just focus on showing the viewers the way the characters interact with each other in order for the viewer to come to their own conclusions. Also, I think the development of every female character in the show has been horrible from the first episode. That being said, I will probably watch season four if for no other reason than I've seen the first three.

I find it's much better. It's very similar, but there are slight differences. For example, when

Spoiler (highlight to read):
He kills the guy that cuts copper in new houses, in the book that was a spur of the moment, desperate kill, but in the series, he plans it out. In the book he actually gets caught, but manages to get out of the building before some guard comes up. The body is left though.

Fun fact: Dexter married his sister aka Michael C. Hall married Jennifer Carpenter. I would've gone with Julie Benz. She's hot
