On my girlfriends computer, she has been complaining of late of it running slow and been on my case about fixing it for weeks. She descided she was bored waiting and did it herself. Wrongly by the looks of it.
Am not entirely certain what shes done, it appears she did the restore, then, did another one, immedietly after. The machine hung for a bit, and she forced a shut down by pulling the plug on it.
Now, when I try and run it for her, I get a blank screen after the loading window. All the start up windows appear fine, even, the vista loading page (with the bar), but as soon as it clears that, it just sits on a blank screen.
Am in safe mode right now, was wondering if there was any theroys on how to get it sorted. I cant even seem to do the F8 trick, screen just goes blank every time I do anything other than safe mode
