Hi guys, long time no see.

I need your help with FRAPS. I'm trying to record sound from a CoD4 demo but it won't let me. I've tried both of the settings on FRAPS itself and set my CoD4 sound setting to Windows Default. I've tried turning off Ventrilo, unplugging my headset, everything.

Help would be appreactiated :]

Can you record sound in any other game, or is it just CoD4?

Have you tried turning on Stereo Mix in your volume controls?

I had to do that before i got my Xonar. Bare in mind it won't work nicely if you intend to use a mic while recording.

[EDIT] I'm assuming that "won't let me" means it's not recording sound, not that you can't click the record sound button in fraps. THat would be a whole other kettle of fish.

It won't record sounds.

EDIT: Doesn't record sound in any game.

It won't record sounds.
use that avidemo stuff instead? Most people say it's better

Otherwise try reinstall Fraps? Select and Unselect the boxes, check sound setup in windows, soundcard setup...
