i first started playing bf2 just 5 weeks ago and at first though it was great, people healing me, repairing me, sucking my dick etc but then i realise its all about "must earn all the medals" fest and not a proper gaming enviroment at all. people sitting on a static AA for 10 minutes doing sod all to earn a badge while im getting peppered by an apache, and people being commander and doing FUCKALL just to put their time in for a medal. pathetic.

Not a proper gaming environment at all? What is a 'proper' gaming environment then? I wasn't aware there was one proper environment for games but do tell, I'm always seeking to reduce my level of ignorance.

Those people who resupply you, drop health packs, revive you when dead (except when you're under direct fire) are helping, who cares if they get something back from it? The bottom line is it helps you to continue to fight in a hostile environment. You might as well complain about a sniper on your team who headshots the guy sneaking up on your position from behind.

Or the other members of your squad killing the five guys firing at you that you hadn't noticed yet.

Or your commander suppressing the enemy with artillery... especially because he gets double points for everything - that just makes it doubly wrong, right?

Why would you even want to post on a game board in the first place?

It's spelled 'poof' - if you want to insult someone at least make an effort to spell the words correctly. Oh and by the way homophobic derogatory terms mark you as being right up near the top of the food chain, really they do.

No really.

A proper enviroment where its all honest. theres no rules to bend or loop holes to cheat with like the healing crap and ammo points to gain huge global figures. i cant believe i had to spell that out.

i agree, very unselfish people risk there arse to help sometimes but again its the ones that rip the piss with the cheating or taking advantage just for points or medals like the hogging im on about.

and....my grand finale....

poof: Used as a disparaging term for an effeminate or homosexual male.

[Probably alteration of puff, braggart, homosexual man, from puff (influenced by poof1).]

In every game you try to reach a goal.  For me most online shooters, like COD2,  do not give me anything to try for.  BF2 changed the FPS online world by adding the awards.  If you do not want to deal with those people then go play COD2, or any of the other online FPS that do not have a reward/ranking system.

thats true but it brings some irritating gits thats all im saying. if your gonna go for awards at least do it the natural way and not spoil the game.

I think battle fired is a robust game environment for frustration . I can't tell you how many games I joined where there are no squads at all . So I make one myself and try to recruit people . All of them deny the option . It seems that everyone want to be a sniper , lonewolf or just do as they please to max out thier particular class or go for medals . That's how " whoreing " got coined in the first place . This game is supposed to be designed for teamwork but when everyone is trying for medals and unlocks , just how much teamwork is going on here ? Shit I've seen more teamwork in COD team death matches then I've seen in BF2 . Granted there are times where everyone is on the same sheet of music and plays perfectly as a team , but by the time everything is going your way and having fun you make that last teamkill by mistake and get booted for ecssesive team kills . Don't even get me started on stats padding . This is what I think numbnuts meant by " Gaming environment " .

Who the hell cares about medals anyhow ? It all boils down to shooting the  guy on the hill . Killing him before he kills you . Wow I spent ten minutes in an AAA seat yay , woo hoo , alright , I'm the man , Yaaaay ! Means nothing to me lol It's just bells and wistles man , means nothing .

too right. i always join unless im with another squad that knows what hes doing, wouldnt wanna spoil one squad. i usually be my own leader so i can call for uav (usually to see if theres any wall hackers) but i prefer to be led.

To be honest joining a squad to kick ass is great fun . But capturing flags is gettin gkind of old . Where are all the mods ? Where are all the different kinds of fighting like Team death match , Nothing but sniper rifles , nothing but aircraft and nothing but Tanks . Where is all the fun ? I kind of like all the vehicles and shit but there is no fun to be had . Some people like nothing but one particular kind of fighting and this game dosen't seem to support shit . The only mods I've ever seen like this are Knives only fights and they are filled with nothing but stats padding cerimonies . I don't know why people are obsessed with the medals anyhow . Lets say you have all the medals and extras maxed out and you have 7,000,000,000,000, global points and I just started the game today .  Whats the fucking difference when you see me and I shoot you in the face killing you instantly . What do all of your medals have to say for you now lol ? Means nothing . Once again it all comes down to who can kill who first with accuracy , sneakyness and or effectively spawn killing hahahahahaha . Game is so stupid .

Well there are many things that you might not believe I would imagine; no disrespect intended. This is the way it is in the game, simple as that, if you don't like it there is a very simple solution: don't play it. You're making inferences about the other player's motivations which can be accurate but they can be extremely inaccurate.

Some medic lying prone behind your body reviving you while you're under direct fire, that's a toolhead's way of raking in the points, but don't tar all medics or supply players with the same brush.

I know what it means - English is my first language

It's just that using a term of a sexual nature in a derogatory fashion like this is just stupid or bigoted. If the game sucks it's "gay", if someone does something stupid they're "gay" or a "homo" or a "fag". Oh that makes the person typing look sooo good. I can't believe I had to spell that out.

Ok, if your fed up with the game, pm me for my mailbox details, so you can send me your game + key

And about the static Air/Ground defenses. I normally get more point in those things than an average player has in a tank. Think about that crybaby.

I dont believe you, although you do a good job of making yourself look like one hell of a hero.

Also where did i say i was fed up? I am simply saying that i have realised something that i find childish in the game. think about that, mr AA superhero.
