Since my desktop is in storage till October or so, and all I have is my laptop...I was thinking aboot trying WoW. Any advice from the wow tards out there?
I would actually buy and subscribe to WoW just to see what it's like seeing you of all people playing WoW
The only problem with the game is everyone playing it

It's boring as hell if you don't find a fun bunch to play with.
And yea, you definately don't need to sink your whole life in it to enjoy it

Blackbelts are just whitebelts who have never quit.
Its alright to play, sometimes you play more than you wanted, others you don't even play. I played on and off for the last 18 months-ish. But then again nothing has held my interest apart from BF2 for long. That game I played for 3 years straight almost everyday.

WoW has a 10 day free trial. There are some limitations, like you can only hit level 100 on skills. But you're not going to get that high quickly anyway. During the 10 days I had it, it was the only game I played. But then when it stopped I realised.. man I wouldn't pay money for that. Everyone's different though.
So yeah, try it, the limitations on the free trial aren't enough to piss you off too much, and you'll probably have enough sense to not get addicted to it.

i am at work but will do that when i get home......after some hooters wings ofc.Finray wrote:

I can see you getting very bored very quickly Marine. Give the free trial a shot if you must though.

I'm pretty sure the free trial (which is of the base game, not the x-packs) is for two weeks.

I played the free trial once, it made me completely not understand what all the fuzz was about. I didn't even manage to play the game for the full 10 day trial period, neither did my little brother.
Games a little slow pace till around lvl 20 when u start doing group dungeons and stuff. It's not for everyone and it's hard to find people who aren't retarded/completely unsocial but I like it. It's a nice slow paced relaxed time killer.
Also play horde if you do play. Alliance = 90% retarded tweens/teens and 10% other.

The free trial is a good introduction to the entire genre of MMO's and WoW. It's not great nor intensive by any means - but that's not really the point. It's easily enjoyable and very casually immerses you in a game that offers an extremely expansive universe with a small taster of a, well, starting 'planet' .
As everyone will tell you, the game only starts to properly 'warm up' around level 20, and as with all MMO's, the real content and fun lies at endgame Level 80. Something to consider whilst playing; the game gets exponentially more fun the more time and effort that you invest in it.
