I'll take back what I said, i7 is meant for the extreme enthusiast and heavy gamer.
Edit: Apparently I miss understood the original rumors of intel cutting cpus. I made assumptions on that. Intel is only replacing the 940 with the 950. (And the 965 with the 975 IIRC)
