Sorry to disagree, but only in the same way as thinking that the SR-71 is repulsive.......or Concord...........or the USS Ronald Reagan.

It is possibly repulsive in its' ostentation, but it is a mechanical marvel the likes of which we will not see for a very long time, if ever in the motoring industry again. Here is a car that costs about 5 times more to build than they are selling it for. It was done simply because they wanted to see if they could. Nobody asked if they should and the result is something that nothing other than pure ego could get away with. In years to come, people are going to look back and ask "Whatever happened to cars like the Vaeyron? I thought all cars were going to be like that in the future, but the future is here and all we have are hybrid limp dicks that run on recycled soy oil and have a maximum speed of 120Km/h".

It is a thing of beauty.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity.
