I've had this game for 6 months now and I've never had a high ping problem. But this week I've been kicked off many of my favorite servers.

There's a wireless laptop and my desktop on our home network and that's it. Is this a ISP problem? specific problem? I know nothing of what Pinging something means besides the fact it gives some people a slight advantage and gets you kicked.

anyway I can check/fix this problem?

Ping is just an easy way of referring to latency, or delay in data transfer, and believe it or not, milliseconds make a difference.  With me it's usually because someone is downloading with a download manager on the network.  You might want to see if someone in your house or maybe a neighbor, if your network isn't secured, is downloading or uploading.

ive had the same problem tonight for no reason and it was a case of resetting the router. huge relief cos i havent killed anyone all day. there are other people on the router but i can see they are offline on the control panel so it wasnt a case of cutting them off and getting all the bandwidth.

Well, maybe lyou have went over a download limit or something, and got shped so your net is slower.... but sometimes my net just slows down for no reason, then i restart my pc and its fine again.
