When I went to Turkey as part of a school trip in July of 2004 the only TV channel myself and the others could watch, (as the rest were in Turkish,) was the Music channel. There were only about ten different videos on a loop and "Dragostea din Tei"  was one of them. There's something weird about the song because several members of our group decided to buy the single. Five months after the trip the "Numa Numa" guy became popular than the song spread further. There IS something weird about this song, how can a camp boyband from Moldova become so popular with a fairly standard pop tune?

I think that this song could be weaponised.
