We used to have a condo in Breckenridge. The slopes are fantastic, but fuck me the queues for the lifts were annoyingly long, and there are zero ski in/ski out opportunities.
Never been to Whistler myself, would love to go there. However, the flight is a long one, so I'd check out some stuff in the Alps first.
Another thing to consider is that England is shit all year round, so you might want to find something a little less season-specific
