I had the exact opposite as you.
It wasn't the expert knife but the Command ribbon.

I met the time requirement and i had nearly 50 commander points. I turned to the corner of the map and saw... 10 tickets!!!

My team was attacking the TV Station in SHarqi and i instantly used UAV on the TV Station, hoping they will kill people inside my UAV scan and get me my 50 points. Finally, 49 points, i check, 1 more ticket!!! Then the 1 ticket turned to 0 and then the drum roll came in as well as MEC victory song together. And i just dropped down from excitement. 3 badges in one round (basic transport, commander badge and gold medal).

Hahahaha man i can feel your pain. i had a game with 17 IAR too i was so pissed i quit playing for a couple days. i was screaming SON OF A BITCH! my girlfriend ran in to see who i was bitchin at and i just said at myself. lol the sad thing is i went to stab someone which would of been my 18th but they killed me b4 i could.

those knife kills sure get u pumped though. i got expert knife on Kubra. it was towards the end and i got kills 16 and 17 almost together. after 17 i got killed. when i respawned i grabed the first jeep i could find and drove back to the enemy flag and got my 18. my heart was raceing about a mile a minute and my palms were all sweaty. lol

.... friday early evening. after all the posts and tips and videos i felt it was time.

i had one hell of a time getting basic, and not to long ago i got basic and Vet in the same round.

for some of us , this is a very hard badge to get, especally for me.

18 kills in a single game? OY , the most i ever got was 8.

anyhow friday, i got on 64 player half empty server and went for it.

at this point you all are going "why did i click on this link"  HANG IN   PAYOFF COMMING,

the first round i get 8 kills. im pumped.

next game i get to 8  then nine. im really pumped

next game i was in the zone   , i got to 8 then nine 1/4 into the game.  i got to 10 then 11 then 12   my adrenaline was at 400000 amps  spewing from every place   13   14   15   16    then game was comming to a fast end i was starting to panic   then 2 people were righ there    prone       stick            #17 !!!!!     turn to get 18 .....

game ended........

      i flung off my head set  and screamed at the top of my lungs  ""AAHHHHHHH""  and then  ""DAAAAMNIIIIIT""    just as i said damnit   i turn and look out my den window  and there is my daughter and her scout leader   looking in the window in horror   while walking to the front door        ......

omg  LOL             i was beet red      had to attempt that i was playen a game....

took me 30 min to come down for the rush

ill keep trying.........   i know its possible now.
