Can everyone who is British do an American accent? and isnt it much harder the other way around like for an American to do an British English accent?

yes...some aussies did it in black hawk down for example me thinks. they sounded like southerners so i guess thats the easiest to do.

Well Aussie actors can do a pretty good job at doing an American accent, Look at the girl who plays in Chuck. She's an Aussie. So if Aussies can do it, Brits can do it.

my English teacher (who is from England and has a British accent) can do a perfect American/Canadian accent. Granted, he can do almost every accent out there and actually teaches how to do accents at the local theater.
