Well, it is. There was a whole fiasco a few months back when Porshe made a lot of money from betting on their stake in Vw, or something like that. So it is newsworthy.

they tried a cheaper porsche with the 924 (thats probably wrong btw) iirc. failed hard.

the cayman/boxster aren't horrendously priced.

I don't ever see Porsche going anywhere near mass market, but with the competiton some of the UK homegrown and Jap companies are giving, they need to give their line a rethink.
