Help with gun unlocks

Hello fellow BF2 players, I have been playing BF2 for a couple months now and have racked up a fair number of points, but have a question regarding unlocks...

I am a Staff Sergeant with 5,873 points

Problem is, I only have 4 weapon locks...however

my friend

is also a Staff Sergeant with 5,544 points

and he has 8 unlocks...

WHAT IS UP WITH THAT LOL!??!!?

Few reasons Bro i think you Don't have SF2 and EuroForce your friend dos thats why he has 4 more unlocks if you buy SF2 you will also have 8 Peace Boris

It is SF - you can ask your friend to play an SF game on his PC,
but logged in as you. Then ask him to log out.

Next time you play on your PC, it will give you the extra unlocks

I hear ya man. My buddies have 8 or more unlocks and I have thousands more points than they do. I have four unlocks and I just rung up my 15,000th point. Just keep on keeping on, you'll be a better player for it. I'm going to write EA an e-mail, I'll let you know if anything comes of it.

ur all clueless realy.......
this has been proven like 5 times by me and my friend. it usually works 100% on a saturday when a lot of people r playin. the night before, get like 10 points away from ur promotion, next day, ull play sum level and get the promotion, good, then leave the game, and just log back on and play, ull get another thing telling u got promoted, keep doing it.

I have a question about gun unlocks too, if u get the advanced ranks, like First Sergeant, do u get the weapon unlocks? cuz the ranking things in ubar.bf2s.com dont say anything about it. I'm just worried cuz i want to get my Basic Knife Combat badge but ive been holding out cuz im not sure if ill get the unlocks at 20,000pts. BKC (Basic Knife Combat) is the last badge i need for First Sergeant btw. thx
