But is the PC getting CE3 for Crysis 2?
Hope not, the CE2 engine is great, especially since now most people can run it pretty well, unlike when it came out you had to have a "Super computer" which now is just a medium end rig.
CE3 is just CE2 but optimized so heavily that it can run on the shit hardware of the consoles. CE3 will look as good as CE2 on a PC but it will run better. That's the whole point of it.
Awesome!
I never understood why people buy consoles though, they've got crap controllers for FPSs, the graphics and gameplay is limited and all this for a cheap price in a plastic box.
PC gaming rigs FTW
Heck they're pretty cheap too!
Hope Crysis 2 is epic
1) Console specific releases (Killzone, MGS, Halo (3), skate., MLB: The Show, etc.)
2) Seemless integration with friends list & active community playing
3) When you buy a game for PS3/Xbox360, you don't say "I hope my GFX card can handle this/pc can handle this" you pop it in and it plays, no fiddling with any GFX settings
4) less hacks/aimbots in most online play (GTA:IV online on PS3/X360 is at least bearable)
5) Once you get the hang of it, playing an FPS will a controller becomes second nature.
I could go one, but I'd rather not waste both our time. You get the point; each has it's advantages and disadvantages.
