I work away for 3-4 months of the year and need a laptop to take with me.

It will mainly be used for watching films and browsing the internet, but i would also like to be able to play Counter Strike: Source on it.

I have a budget of about £500-£600 for this and i was wondering if this is possible? Is it going to need more money?

Budget of about £300-£400 if it cant play games.

Links to UK sites would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

With a laptop of £600 you will easily be able to play CS:S and watch movies etc.
As for an exact laptop i'm not sure.

Grr PDF.

Let me have a look on the site.

EDIT: Aww crap the site is down.

Try to get something with at least a 2.4-2.8 dual core, maybe a 9600GT? Something like that would run CS:S pretty nicely. If it's got Vista, try and get 4GB of RAM, but 2GB will do.

If you find one for £500 which does the job don't buy the £600 because it's a bit more. It's not like this has to be the best computer that you're going to use as your main rig, just a portable lappy.
