Looking for remote Desktop or Torrents & FTP programs

K, so I have a PC that is on 24/7 and does all my downloading - both using torrents and FTP. Atm it has its own screen and mouse/keyboard, but I'd like to control it from my main PC.

I'd prefer a remote Torrent program where I can Download/Open the torrent files on the main PC, and easily send them straight over.

I'd also need a remote FTP program that behaved in a similar way.

Does this exist? If not, I'd need a remote desktop program - what's the best one?

Does not have to be free.

What OS are you using?

Windows Remote Desktop is pretty simple to configure.

But I'd rather not use a remote desktop tbh...

I just found out I could use uTorrents integrated WebUI, so that's covered. Now all I need is remote FTP...

I decided to use uTorrent only, actually.

Used the integrated WebUI to access the Download PC from my main computer. I was going to use FTP to download from a seedbox, but instead I'll just use uTorrent as a tracker (on the seedbox) and download it to the Download PC via BitTorrent by accessing it via the WebUI. Works great

Sounds far too overcomplicated. What's your aversion to a simple remote desktop and file sharing setup?
