I don't remember where it's from, but there's a quote that says something along the lines of "The oddest looking people are actually the most normal" (in its context, I interpreted normal to be more akin to level headed). That said, the artist's response is the most reasonable bit of information in this whole debacle.

Ya I am serious. She is facing the camera the whole time and the stars appear on her "left side" and then at 0.31 seconds the stars are on her "right side".
