desktop speakers?

my desktop speakers have been shot and my iphone speaker(jbl on stage II) only charged the 1st gen IPhone(long gone) and therefore drains the battery juice

anyone have a recommendation on a small pc desktop speaker setup that has a iphone slot for music/charging?

The less worthless gizmondos a set of speakers have, the better they will sound. I'd get an Ipod dock with charger and line out, combined with a decent set of speakers

Ok Kim heres the deal- I couldn't find any 2.1 setup that also charges the unit at the same time but this is a nice alternative and it will still be usable if you change your iphone for something else at a later time (except for the dock which is only iphone compatible).
I would get this:

i don't but I have considered them. Well only until I got my salary and the budget went over 1k

I don't know whats so funny, logitech is good.

Its like if you go to McDonalds, they might have the Whopper and it looks good but its expensive and it has pickles and only two pieces of meat. But then theirs the chicken nuggets. Theirs five of them and each one is awesome and sometimes they are different sizes but each one is special and awesome and tasty. And there are no pickles. And its cheaper.
