What costume should I wear to a 4th of July party?

My choices are:

- US-themed: ACU pants, hulkamania/coca-cola/jim beam/etc T-shirt, US flag as a cape, ACU helmet, budweiser as my drink

- UK-themed: Brit DPM pants, football shirt or T-shirt with the grand union on it, UK flag as a cape, Brit DPM helmet, whatever english beer I can find as my drink

I already have the camo, and the cost for the rest of the gear will cost about the same for either costume. I also have a 4th of July themed paintball game that day and enough time to wash/dry between game & party, so the flag will get used twice.

Which should I choose?

switch, the stuff I see here is mostly tetley's and the odd super tennents, but I've no clue if thats chavish or not. I'd actually prefer something along those lines, I'm certainly not going for the refined look

For anybody who wants to know why I'm celebrating the 4th of July,

I'm not. I am, however, going to a party in a weeks time which has a 4th of July theme - that means fireworks and Americana. I expect the flatmates have been hoarding fireworks from Guy Fawkes day. Failing that, I expect someone will light a fire and throw lynx cans on it.

Mekstizzle, its a way to light things on fire after a few beers, and get away with it. Guy Fawkes falls in the summer here - fireworks + beer = good times! Not to mention colonial loyalty...
