Well there are only two phones on the market as of this moment that run Android, the G1 and the HTC Magic (I have no idea what they call it in the US). Shame the Palm Pre hasn't gone GSM, yet, because I would say get that. But the new Android phone is pretty stout. Give it a shot.

@Nismo the Magic is called the T-Mobile myTouch 3G. Yeah, shitty name.

I've got a Palm Pre. It's quite nice. The GSM version isn't out yet, but hopefully by the time they release it they'll have addressed some of the build quality problems. It's a great phone save for some quirks.

I've got the T-Mobile G1. It's a nice phone, I like it.

There is also the the new HTC Hero that runs Android but I dont know anything about it or if its out yet... I just saw it being praised on Gizmodo
