I see where usmarine is coming from. If they're fucking crazy enough to start shit and bite an ear off in the first place, chances are they'd come back (at least I'd think that).

It just seems like one of those 50/50 things. If they had walked on to find a safe spot, they could have been attacked en route and just left there, with the emergency services completely unaware.

How long was the wait between the call, when they came back, and when the police showed up?

It hasn't ever been proven that eye-witness accounts are totally unreliable, because that simply isn't true. They aren't anything like 100% reliable, but they are certainly very helpful in general, which is why they are so widely used as evidence in court cases alongside, and in the absence of, other evidence.

Yet you prefer your assumptions, despite the fact you know nothing about the people involved, the area they were in, the local emergency services procedures or any other useful information on which you could make any sort of reasoned judgement?

Doesn't seem a very sound way of getting an accurate picture of the world.

Reminds me of a court case I saw on one of those judge shows. There was two rednecks and one of them was missing half his ear. And the crazy part was that the guy missing most of his ear was presenting his case cool and calmly with the guy who bit off his ear standing 20 feet from him.

At usmarine. It's a little suspect that a guy would come onto a forum to lie about being a victim if he wasn't. It's hard to believe they did anything deserving of getting their ear bit off and having a random girl get punched in the face.

No we didnt say anything, we're not the kind of people that go out looking for fights. We're all in london doing work placements as part of our degree, we're barely a rowdy bunch. Sometimes you get cunts that start shit for no reason. I have a couple of mates like it, but they weren't there. This guy was obviously on something. Especially as he came back to try again. As I said, all my mate did was push him back n tell him to get lost, which is when the guy jus jumped in.
