I think there's such things as "in game remote controls", so to speak.
Sort of like bringing up the Steam interface - but for controlling your media player.

The best solution is probably to get a keyboard that has media buttons. You can get ones that really aren't very expensive.

Well i'm using the G15 to control winamp but sometimes the controls seem to work but msot of the time it won't....

Could you be more specific about how it "sometimes doesn't work"? We might be able to help you out there, mine works all the time (minus loading screens).
I just have winamp with keybindings on the numpad, works great.
