For whatever reason when I open a session using PuTTY my connection times out. The title bar shows
"174.36.236.29-static.reverse.softlayer.com - PuTTY"
instead of
"domain.com - PuTTY"
I'm connecting to!
Ran a full AVG scan on slow, rebooted, and redownloaded PuTTY.exe and it seems to be fixed.
According to:
https://www.trustedsource.org/en/feedba … amp;dummy=
Its a malware site. What's weird is AVG didn't catch it.
Anyone else experience something similar? I should had kept the old PuTTY.exe file to see if it was corrupted or perhaps there's another file somewhere else on my system that is modified?
Ideas?
