Or you could just see it for what it is, which is ammusing, some of her stuff is even funny, she doesn't take herself seriously so why do you?

I don't actually listen to her stuff all that regularly it just gives me a laugh sometimes, if I'm in the mood for it. No shes not particularly talented,  she admits it herself in a few tracks lol, she does make me giggle though. 

When you start going on about the British arts persona, you just look like a tosser whos father had too much cash to throw away on English lessons.

I love listen to people rag on other peoples music selection, always cracks me up.

I listen to a lot of music that nobody i've ever met likes but i don't give a fuck what anyone else has to say. I just listened to Eric Clapton Unplugged and now i'm listening to this song and i like them both.

tl;dr - What difference does it make if you think the music is shit? If he likes it then good for him.
