Seriously, this is by far the best game I have ever played. What other game can you do all the things you do on this game? Tanks, choppers, boats, apc's, artillary, squads,commanders, medals, ribbons, new ranks. Its a great game, stop complaining about EA trying to make it better.

First - please allow me to done my bunker gear as this WILL draw flames;

IMHO **THE** thing that makes BF2 the Bomb-Diggity game it is AND makes it draw the most fire is the ranking system. Seriously, would we have this kind of community (BF2s), the amount of "complaining" (I hate that word) or this amount of trash talk ("OMG You Fux0rn N00!3!!!!") if there was no scoring or ranking system? Take that away and this is nothing more than an on-line MMPG.

As an example - Call Of Duty 2 (great game) has no ranking system. I did a quick Google search on "Call of duty 2" and on the first page got a hit only one community site and that was the "planet" site that all games get. The same search on BF2? Seven independent community sites.

So, EA has created the perfect double edged sword here: The ranking system is gamer's crack. The ranking system is the developer's nightmare. One one hand: it's a game, get over it, if you don't like it, don't play it. On the other hand: If you can't SUPPORT it, don't DEPLOY it.

Its a fun game. However there are alot of people complaining about their patches. I don't mind them. Hell, I didn't have any problems with any of their patches except for the new one: 1.22, I get high ping and lose connection every 30 minuets but I'll just wait until they can fix it.

lolz... bf2 is great and all but if u have patience, then go play AA... one of the best game that supports team work and has ranking (hounor system...)

bf2 won the game of the year award on pc mag. stop your bitching (if u do) plz... but i think EA should make the patches a bit better and fix all the bugs first, i wouldnt mind if the next booster came out in 2 yrs, if the patching is great, i would stick w/ BF2
