Transformers have teleportation. If they need to be in Syknet HQ sipping a hot cup of joe, they'll just teleport there.

Terminators only have guns, strong robots and nukes. All of which get their orders from Skynet. But what if Soundwave is changing the orders with the satellite?

if i was in charge of skynet here is what I would do:

Mass-manufacture the new terminator T-whatever, and have them be my primary attack force against the Transformers. Judging by the fight in the end of Transformers 2 I would guess it would take about 50 terminators to take out a decepticon. I would mount rail guns on 10m walls all around my Hqs and have those flying bF2142 style drones relay coordinates for railgun shots.

I can't really think of anything else you could do.

Meh Skynet wins, I think. Skynet is much more widespread and has control over fabrication and design facilities that are obviously highly distributed. Considering the many different kinds of vehicles that it's created I'm pretty sure it can either build enough to take out Transformers or it can design something specific to kick their ass. Besides, considering the numbers I think Skynet could overwhelm them.

Also don't forget that the Transformers' weakness seems to be cold...I'm sure pouring/spraying liquid nitrogen on them would screw them up.

Oh and to whomever said that Skynet's nukes would do anything to Transformers, that's BS. If the intense radiation or the actual force of the blast didn't do the trick then the EMP or the heat would.

Besides...what if a T-1000 (the liquid metal one) got onto one of the Transformers...it goes liquid, flows inside their bodies and begins cutting, tearing and breaking stuff. Game over.
