I love Jazz rap, and the Japanese influence reminds me of some of the work Last Emperor has done. Nice find.

Check out, A Tribe Called Quest, and De La Soul, even some of NaS' and Common's work.

NaS and Common are legit. My friends tell me to check out A Tribe Called Quest all the time. Checking them out right now...

Electric Circus was more Jazzy tbh.
Like Water for Chocolate was epic.
Basement Evolution was good too.
So was Resurrection, the song I Used To Love H.E.R. is deep.
Finding Forever was good, bit more modern and upbeat..

Wait I've nearly gone through his whole discog
I like his rap style, It's laid back, yet his lyrics are conscious.

Have you heard Deja Vu by NaS?
