Where's my badge?!

I'm damn pissed off. Clocked my 100 hours as Spec Ops, now at 105 or something, and I'm aiming to get my Expert badge. Got Basic and Veteren. All I need then is 40 kills in a round.

Apparantly not. Got 40 kills, on foot no less, and didn't get anything. Nothing. Nada. Ranked server? YES. 40 kills as spec ops? YES. So where's my damn badge?!

This has happened to my friend too, with his Veteran Medic Combat. I want this badge, but I can't be bothered to be Spec Ops anymore, not since you can't throw C4, and (I find) the guns seem to be weaker (Or rather, every noob under the sun is running around the damn blasted should-be-banned PKM).

BF2 is a damn good game....I don't understand why EA and DICE don't get off their arses and fix the damn bugs. Why would anyone buy BF2142? It's going to be just as bugged, if not worse.

Somtimes you have to kill more, You tk, you need to make up for it. Stat server also lags. PKM is geting nerfed. I will by BF2142 because BF is my crack, even tho the dealer sucks.

sometimes it takes a few attemps to get a badge..iv had to do a few of my awards a couple of times for it to finally regester,, also ive been awarded my second valour medal for weeks now,,it want regester all it does is award me EVERY time i join a server,,will it ever regester??

I hear ya man. I got my 100+ hours for Engineer and amassed 51 kills in a round. I was shown both expert Engineer and Expert Engineer Specialist on the screen when I got the number of kills (40 and 44). However, the awards never showed up, so yesterday I went and did it again. This time they did show up and all is well.

Dedicated server?
Sometimes i find that the non-dedicated servers get shut down before they update EA's stats server. I received the Expert Command 3 times before it took. I finally played on an official EA server.

A co-worker of mine is having the same thing with SF ribbons. The ones you get at 5 hours of being on a certain team aren't showing up, even though the stats are marked off as showing that his 5 hours are completed.

Its not five hours as Army. You need to play each map as army and you need to get 50 hours in theated for that army also. It usually takes up to 25-30 for SAS and Spetsnaz( i got mine at that time) around 22-25 as Insurgant. And around 18-23 to get Rebel, Seals, And MEC SF ribbons.

you have to get the badge/medal/ribbon etc, but you have to play the entire round. if you leave the server right after you get it, it wont save. i know plenty of guys who have gotten their goal and then left the server before the round ended. just play out the round and you should be fine......

Huh? We were just going by the requirements listed here on BF2S. There are no such requirements for playing every map, just hours total time within that particular army/group.

Is there a site that lists more specific details, such as those you described, regarding these ribbons?

Some times it will take time for the server to send data to EA's stat servers. I had a guy in our clan experience the same thing. The medal showed up, it just to a little while to show up. Also, check BFHQ to see if it is there. I have also noticed that you need the global requirements before the kill requirement, and boh can not be meet in the same round. On SF I got the kill and time requirement in the same round, but did not get a medal. The next round I meet the kill requirement and received the medal.

Just so you guys know it is more the 5h per army, it is 50h.

I hear ya. I'm not a great player, but a couple of days ago I played a Wake server and got my first Bronze medal. I know this may not be much to veterans here, but I was happy to get it, the damn thing hasn't shown up two-three days later.

Needless to say I'm a bit ticked off.
