so im going to be getting 2 more 24" monitors to add to the one i already have pretty soon, and i was wondering how i would go about hooking them all up to the same pc. i also have my tv plugged in with an hdmi > dvi converter, so itll actually be 4 monitors. is this even possible? my 8800gts only has 2 dvi inputs, so i guess ill have to buy a new vid card?
Send one to me then you'll be fine
And why 3 monitors?
And why 3 monitors?
poker. playin 12 tables on 1 screen sucks, and i want to be able to play more than 12 at once
At work we will use 2 quadro FX 5xx or one quadro nvs 4xx to steer up to 4 monitors (CAD work).
These would be 20" non wide-screen.
I would not recommend these cards for games, but I would indeed use more videocards.

P5Q pro has two PCIE x16 slots, meaning you can have two graphics cards.
So you could keep your old one and get a new one, but you wouldn't be able to SLI it if its dfferent.

Get the cheapest nvidia card with 2 DVI slots there is. You can use them both off the P5Q Pro.

It goes from one monitor to three monitors. That's what he needs..Sup wrote:

No it isn't what he needs since it only supports 3 monitors while ig would need 3 + his TV. Besides he can get a better solution for one tenth of the priceTSI wrote:

He has 2 dvi outputs. One goes to the TV, as is already the case, the other goes to the Matrox. That IS what he needs--4 screens total.ig wrote:

The TH2G doesn't support resolutions over 1680x1050 per screen anyhow, so it's kind of pointless for that big screens.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
Just pick up a cheap 8400GS and 8500GT and connect the other monitors to it

While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
