I need to get this out of my system, and I feel that many people will connect with me throughout this post. Over the past year, BF2 has been the main FPS, and rightly so. Many clans have formed, and gone into ladders.

However, I have noticed that certain clans have BF2 servers, again rightly so. But what really gets to me is that about 8 of them go on, expect a place, and then just own everyone because they're playing through TS or ventrilo. In my opinion, I think this is really unfair as other players who are wanting a good game just get owned and owned and owned, no chance to develop their skills. And indeed, I have seen this on servers where the server isn't actually their's.

Do You agree with me that "Clan saturation" just isn't right. I'm sure you've all experienced it...

People are always welcome to ask us for the Ventrillo info, and 9 out of 10 clan servers I go on have the Vent or TS info right on the loading screen, You have the same oppertunity to use it as the rest of them, so stop bitching.

I think it's wrong. Almost borders stat padding. It's fun to play as a team but if you are, go find another team to play against and stop boosting your ego beating disorganized noobs.

Some clans will divide themselves on both sides, some will stack. If you see a stacked deck, will you sit in on a game of cards, NO! So why would your put yourself through the same thing while playing BF2?

Does it make it difficult to win if a clan is on the same team, yes.
Is it impossible to win with a public team, no.
Does it allow someone to not advance in there skills, no.

Will you get killed, probably, especially running lone wolf. But it doesn't mean you can't increase your skillz from playing agaisnt them. Does someone get better at anything by playing against people they know they can beat, maybe slowly. But that extra presure should just make you try harder... or you can complain and go play agaisnt some new guys who may not know half the techniques you do. You can only learn so much from soneone who knows less than you.

I dont think its Teamspeak or Ventrillo that does it, its more than that:

- understanding and using the commo-rose for orders/request/spotting (squad leaders)
- spotting via commo rose or via commander-radar marks the spotted enemy-dot (and type of vehicle !)
on the map; teamspeak doesnt do that automatically !
- understanding and using the mini-map extensively
- organize in 3 or 4 full squads
- faith in commander/sqaud leader and following orders through: discipline !
- having a dedicated commander , not a flying one that drops no supplies and does not spot enemies outside UAV with radar

Those are the things that a lot of clans use to their advantage too.
But so can everyone if they are motivated.

use of TEAMSPEAK(or other external voice communication) is 100% fair.....
Reason :
BF2 supports Voice IP but the visitors dont use it so well its their own fault that they are disorganized and too busy stathworing around
