It will be a desktop.
It will have to hold Bf2, and some more games.
I am trying to spend less that 1000 dollars.
I don't need the monitor, just the computer.
I am open for suggestions
thanks

What's Mugen 2?GC_PaNzerFIN wrote:
Standard BF2s 1K rig (IF you are going to game the new games):
PII X4 940 BE
Mugen 2
Gigabyte GA-MA790XT-UD4P
2x2GB DDR3 1333MHz
GTX 275
Corsair HX520W
WD Caviar Black 1TB
Antec P182
New best bang for buck in coolers
here its like almost same priced as DDR2 setup so I think its worth itDeathUnlimited wrote:
Scythe mugen 2 is a cpu cooler.
Anyways I'd go for 1066MHz or even 800MHz DDR2 ram and the GA-MA790X-UD4P. DDR3 is, still, kinda pointless.

How disappointing. To me Mugen will always be about stupid 2D fighting with 1000s of ludicrous characters and fights. Ryu vs Homer Simpson and suchlike...GC_PaNzerFIN wrote:

Looks almost as big as my old Socket A Alpha Heatsink. That was a real beast. Alpha knew how to make heatsinks VAST. They never came with fans though, had to get them separately.

Tbh, when I got my first parts I was the same, I'd never built a computer before in me life. It's very easy to do, you just gotta take your time at it. Everything fits one way, unless you force it in and break it.kr4kh34dk3nny wrote:
I cant put one together though tbh
