So I can't stand using a fucking P4 anymore.
That being said, I don't have a ton of money.
All being said; this is what I have come up with:

Gonna swap the PSU for a 500W I have lying around, and put a 4830 in.
And I know there isn't a disc drive, I'll pick one up from the local store.

Thoughts? Improvements? All help appreciated :)

4GB RAM would be a good idea and not add much to the price. 160GB hard drive seems too small. They've typically got a very high price per GB. Why not buy a case without a PSU if you have one already? Do you already have a GPU?

Well the PSU is in my moms computer, but she doesn't need 500W.
I'm going to put a 4830 in, I have it lying in a box on my printer right now.

I really don't need more than 160GB anyways.

Makes sense. I'd still recommend 4GB RAM and a bigger hard drive, 250GB minimum. Smaller drives are slower and having lots of free space on a drive makes it massively faster. Hard drive speed is a very often overlooked factor and having a lot of space on your hard drive is typically a more effective and particularly more cost effective way of getting good speed from your drive than going out and buying raptors or similar.
