The interface. It is pretty good; it isn't completely useless, frusterating, and/or annoying most of the time. I'll admit there are some bits that could be improved (such as accidental team switching when I'm trying to do something in the squad menu). It is simple.

Bar-based meters showing all your important information on the HUD: they're quicker and easier to get information out of than traditional number displays (Ie half-life's 1-100 health/HEV guage, numerical ammunition counter). Almost everything is bar-based, from health to ammo to overheat. Even has a little reload meter showing how long it is taking to reload, neat, and even useful at times.
Logical map and ticket HUD: you can almost guess without beforehand knowledge as to what each item here represents, down to the icons for vehicles and the guage for which team owns which flag.
Non-static HUD is easy to read: Unless you're moving around really fast and the contrast of the blue/green text to the background is poor, you can usually read out other players names easily. The little bars for engineer/medic/support are great, they let you prioritize who/what/where/when to provide aid.

Colour coding is good - now all enemies are red, and all friendlies are blue. Your squadmates are green, and commanders are Yellow. Very quick and easy identification. The little icons next to their names are also very helpful, letting you know just what to expect in terms of friendly supporting kits.

Full native language support: I used to use all english VO's, but I've come to believe that native VO is better for me. Even if I cannot understand what the person is saying on radio, I can look up and see most of the time, or just know. Also, this lets you know when enemies are close by, as you can hear them radio in a different language.

Just a few things I like. Hope someday all of BF2 can be as good.

Re-Incarnation. You mean re-spawn right?

I like the way the game promotes teamwork.  If your on your own you won't last long.  in a squad you cover each others back.

Battlefield is nothing more than a huge facelift of a game called wargasm from back in the late 90's for me. One thing missing though is in wargasm, if you were a troop and stood for a while he would cock his leg and fart. only happened twice in years of playing but funny as hell.
