It's hard.
I make 7.50 an hour, i work about 72 hours a paycheck (2 weeks).

This equals $540. I don't get a lot of tax taken out, so were gunna just call it $500.

Thats $1000 per month.

A decent car costs around 3-4000 dollars.

I wish i could get a loan, that way i can use the car while i pay for it. But im seventeen and banks dont talk to seventeen year olds.

Plus. It's unrealistic to say that im saving my entire paycheck. While i dont have any mandatory bills to pay, i still end up spending money.

Which basically doubles the length of time it will take to save for a nice car.

Fuck me. This is gay.

What are some ways to make more money? Im already working away most of my days. I hate my hours. 10-8 some days, other days just 3-8. Usually 5 days a week.

Save your entire paycheck. I did it to pay for my computer....for 6 months. It's not unrealistic.

And i have asked the rents, but they already have enough bills. I've been trying to talk to them about taking out the loan for me. But i can't really see them doing that.

8-9 months is a long ass time to save for a car, not to be unrealistic about it, but I dont want to wait that long. Im using my stepmoms old car which has 240,000 miles on it and a broken frame, and honestly im pretty confident itll be dead 9 months from now.

I want to make more money, I dont mind working for it either.

ok, well you can do what i did. i got a decent car out of the junkyard (wasnt too bad surprisingly) and spent little amounts over time buying parts and such. took about 14 months.

auctions also.

Buy a beater for now. Save up, buy better car when you have enough. Beat up your old car in a field or something. That's what I was going to do with my beater, but some guy offered me $700 for it (I only bought it for $400..)
