I've been using firefail for a while but am getting sick of it poor performance. I don't want to install a bunch of browsers to try them. What's the best as of now?
Internet Explorer
Firefail is the new pro. Stick with Firefox; however, if you aren't capable of it's highlights choose something such as Opera or what not.
Google Chrome is pretty good. I still use firefail myself though...

I've had issues with it breaking stuff....King_County_Downy wrote:

It created a bizarre problem that I never managed to fix. Downloads (only those from a browser - tried IE, Opera and FF) wouldn't save to the hard drive except using Chrome. Tried everything to fix it. If you watched what happened, the file would be downloaded, then deleted, then it'd try to write it to the hard drive and fail. I tried all sorts of things to fix it and in the end I just backed everything up and reinstalled Windows.
I don't like it.
Good to know. I've only installed it and youtube'd a couple videos. Then went back to FF I think I'll just steer clear of Chrome all together.Bertster7 wrote:

Chrome is perfect for me
I know fucking karate
Update to 3.5, then you should be fine. FF should run superbly on almost any machine that has more than 1GB of RAM and a P4 or better...Swan wrote:

I've used Chrome since it was released, I like it a lot.
If you're looking for another alternative, try Opera; used it before I started using Chrome and I liked it a tad better than Firefox. Each has its shortcomings and strong points though, probably just have to keep them updated and such.

Chrome is shit. I can't explain why, I just hate it. Maybe it's the stupid Pokeball logo.

Oh too late.
Everyone has personal preferences, there's no such thing as the best browser. You really have to try them if you want the one that fits you best.

I recommend Telnet.

How about Lynx?
Firefox has poor performance?
