I'm leaning towards the Merc Stealth, because of it's fancy left sided arrow keys, renound build quality, and a few other things.

I'm kinda put off by the price though. I don't know if I can justify £55 on a new keyboard. It is dedicated for gaming though.

Again I don't think I could justify spending so much money on a keyboard, and I doubt I'd use the screen and the macro features.

Third keyboard I'm looking at is the Saitek Eclipse V3.

I have the V1, my Dad has the V2, and my brother the V3, so I know it's a good board. The V1 seems a bit flimsy, though. The V2 is nice, but again the build quality is a bit, well, rubbish. The V3 is just too big for what it is, and there's no real difference, apart from more lights. I really don't like the wrist support on it. The one on the V1 was so much more comfy. It is a lot cheaper than the other two boards though.

Also I don't know what site to buy from, I guess Amazon is good, but I don't know if I can get it cheaper anywhere else.

So, suggest more keyboards, or tell me which one to get, and from which site.

I'd say the G15 out of all them, I had a similar thing to the first one... and despite looking good for gamings the standard WASD keys are far better. It's also very big and hard to fit on my desk, just advising against the first one:)

I would go with the G15 though, I just find it hard to spend the money on a keyboard when my logitech one that cost me about €10 is working great!

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. I have a standard merc, same size as the stealth and it fits my small desk fine, its got a great build quality and the game pad on the left of it is really cool. Have you thought about getting a standard merc if you just want to save money, it lacks the USB ports and the audio ports.

I have the G15v2 on my desktop, it's really nice. And I mainly use the LCD screen as a clock, so i can see what time it is in fullscreen applications... also, the macro buttons are kinda nice, i'm sure you'll find a use for them.

I had a G15, now I have a G19.

G15 is a really great keyboard and the macro feature is really useful for shit like Ventrillo, XFire and FRAPS where you need to puch a button but don't want it to be a button that actually does something.

I just got an old mechanical keyboard for $2 from a computer recycle warehouse. You can get new mechanical boards (ABS M1, Das Keyboard, steelseries makes one as well) but you may as well try to find an old one for cheap to see if you like it. Best to type on, but you probably won't find one with media keys or anything more then a 104 key layout.

I have the orange G15 and mainly purchased it for the back lit keys so I could play in the dark. The screen, music controls and USB ports are convenient.
