I was Playing Wake on the BAF server, when this guy started doing kick votes over and over again, just against one person.

We all keep asking him why the Kick Vote, as none of us could see the person getting the kick votes was doing anything wrong.

After ages waiting for a reply, he finaly said "it's because I could'nt Kill him".

As you can guess this guy got much ribbing and piss taking out of him.

Even the Commander ordered the so called unkillable guy to die.

So funny, but as you can see The kick vote is of no use when some one is doing wrong or used just for Grudges.

EDIT: Totaly forgot to say that i will always vote no in kick vote, unless a good reason given.

That said If I do a kick vote against some one I always give a reason , not that it makes much differance.

Just make's you wonder all those people who vote yes without a reason they must just love pressing page up on a vote.

lol ''I couldnt kill him'', I am playing a server without the kickvotes and punish! really chilll.. but sometimes I really want to hit that page up button to punish such a dickhead but yeah.. instead i will just put a .50 bullet through his head ..really useless information I know..

yep - i got a kick vote continuously started against me the other night by a lame-ass called -JB-teamcrap (or some variation of this), and 7 people actually voted against me (out of about 20), all because I just kept on kicking his (and his team's) ass. Inside the palace on Warlord, i got t00bed, so i thought ok and started t00bing back - turns out i was a lot better at it than the other team, and this teamcrap guy just starts paying me out in chat calling me a cheater, points whore, stats whore, n00b etc etc - ALL THE WHILE HE AND HIS TEAM JUST KEEP ON T00BING US THEMSELVES!! So flame war ensues, which I can only assume I won because he disconnected well before the round ended (my team wins by over a hundred tickets w00t)

Seriously, a kick vote because you're getting pwned - and with your own tactics??!? THis is some of the most obnoxious n00bery I have ever seen. I keep an eye out for this guy on the servers now... you know what weapon I'm reaching for when I find him...

I've never initiated a kick vote once. . . I could care less.

I have been kicked 80+ times (I think) for:
a.) Accidental TK accumulations.

b.) Killing the ADMIN, one to many times,

c.) Delibrate TK-ing, if I see a guy TK another for a vehicle, or me, I am getting kicked for sure - I always TK that guy over and over if I am in the mood and if I can catch up with him.

d.) A pointless kick vote [that WORKED!] - somebody got pissed because I was playing well.

I hate them, and when I realized I could opt-out permanent on all voting - that option got clicked!

Kick vote requirements shouldn't assume everyone votes, they should maybe need 75% of the people that do vote to vote yes for it to be successful.

NO. . .

My opt OUT option is an AUTOMATIC NO VOTE.

Because that one guy getting negative points up the yahoo! is not the rule but an exception. The rule is useless kick votes by players based on simple annoyances, sometimes just better play than yours/ours and also sometimes it just anger about some pointless flame chattering going on between a couple jerks.

And that's whay kick votes don't work your opting out of voting so people who launch them can never get people kicked.

Sometime you need a kick vote, I've initated several and been kicked as well but I don't think I've ever been voted out.  Wouldn't you rather see votes work as opposed to Admins kicking?

I like playing on 16/64 maps problem is alot of people wont vote so your playing on a full server were 3 people on your team are doing nothing, no points, no kills, no deaths. It's now 8 vs 5 the other team wins pretty much all the time in this case.

If you say a guy is idle the other team almost always votes no since it's basically an advantage to them.

I personally believe you should only require more than half the total votes on your team to kick a teammember and only your team votes.  And more than half the total votes to kick a opposing team member both teams vote.

I think the page up button is like crack to some people. It goes the same for punishes, even when it's their own dumbass fault, page up oh well. Anyway i opt out of voting because i got sick of that stupid vote poping up every 5 seconds just because some noob keeps dieing and thinks everyone is cheating.

A while back I was playing on an EA server on Operation Clean Sweep (hate that map.) Anyways, I drove to an enemy base and there were like 3 guys standing there looking at me. I thought, "Crap" and started shooting. Except they didn't start shooting back. I killed all 3, then they spawned and I killed them again and took the base. Soon I see "Soandso has initiated a kick vote against [bf2s]Homeschtar". I asked why and on of the guys I killed says, "Because you're a tking f*cker". Then I realized it was the red name bug, and I told him that, but that didn't stop him from trying to kick me the next 2 rounds.

similar type of thing happened to me as commander on karkand maybe 12-14 people were in the server and i chose to be commander since no one did it last round (and we still won) figured what have i got to lose we are a good team to beat them without a commander so first round starts off well but you know sometimes within the round the other team starts to make a push well it happened and right away a mutiny starts against me i am not the best commander but i can hold my own its just one of those things a commander cant always keep from happening i didnt lose thee position and we one very next round commanding once again and we are doing very well as a team but the other team took back like 2 cp and the same guy starts a mutiny aganst me this time i lose it and at the last seconds of the vote the rest of the round no took my postion it just pissed me off that he starts this vote and then doesnt take the postion we still one and i still got the commander 2x ftw

people dont kick vote enough, every once in a while i'll wind up wit ha vehicle tker and me and like 3 others have got killed by him and we all to try for kick votes, yes i do made it overly clear what he is doing, i put up messages saying whats going on but no one gives a shit so i page up on kick votes unless i know that they are doing good, yes guilty until proven innocent, but most ppl arnt assholes enough to bother to start a kick vote for no reason/ not enough ppl vote anyways. But as far as punishing goes i only punish if they kill me like 3 or more times because you hae to realize that theres a fucking little thing called a red tag glitch, or sometimes their just trigger happy, its always better to give a freebee or two then to punish, also fuck the server admins that turn auto punish on. ANd sry i just realized my rant is lacking some needed puntuation ^_^

I get a vote on my ass 5 times a day. When there suddenly is a kickvote against some other player, i go like; WHAT?

500+ kickvotes, never successful though. Kickvotes are pointless... I also hate that crap on the screen. Right in the middle to, like the most interresting thing for me to know is how those damned kickvotes are going!

autokick for negative score ftw, punish auto off ftw. Let the admin do the job

Ive modded bf2 in localization so that kickvote displays the words "Page Down" and the name of the kicker and kickee, less crap on the screen that way

I do use the page up/down keys alot as you should to reply to squad leaders etc and I've found myself voting to kick people my accident. Happens I suppose.
