I watched it a couple times. I dont know if it was the editing or what, but at one point they lost they gyrocompass and were still on auto-pilot. So, the boat starts doing doughnuts in like 5-7 ft seas and they are all getting tossed around like a bunch of Marys, not one person went over, put it in manual drive and steered into the waves. Another time they tried launching their fast rescue boat to "catch" a whaling vessel while traveling at 10 knots in rough seas... the boat flipped. Idiots,... and not to sound like a broken record, but they launched their FRC again, this time slowing down so it didnt flip, and set it off with a small crew.... get this, into fog and rough seas again (they couldnt see where they were going and were damned lucky not to be lost at sea, not to mention be able to find the main boat)... fucking morons. These people deserve the Darwin award.loubot wrote:

you guys ever seen Whale Wars on tv? those guys are a bunch of f-ing idiots. I wouldnt be suprised if they sink their dumbass boat or someone falls over the side and drowns.
I thought this thread was able eating-out fat chicks.
I do not approve eating endangered species. Whales in particular. The Japanese should stop hunting them, or opposing groups should make more Sea Shepard's, or arm the first one. I have absolutely no remorse for any Whaler that is plummeting towards Davey's Locker.
As for the McDonald's argument in an earlier post: cows are not endangered.

I fully agree, but you wasnt gonna ban me anyway was you?Bernadictus wrote:

Whales arn't bread for the porpoise (he he) of food anyway are they? Cows are.
so what if they're endangered? if they're tasty people will eat them.
if we eat all of them then we'll just eat something else.

shark meat is muscular and tough, and not particularly pleasant in taste.
shark fin is more of a textural thing, it doesn't taste much like anything.

The whales we are hunting are not endangered, au contraire, they are putting the norwegian-icelandic herring (I think it was that species) in danger because there are so many of them due to the whaling ban that was recently lifted.Bernadictus wrote:

Gotta dig it in sand and pee on it, same as with stingray, something to do with the ammonia in the urine flushing out something that makes it taste bad I think.Krappyappy wrote:

But it's a hit or miss, some like it, some hate it.
I like it
that whale wars show and the people on that boat are the biggest fuckups in the world. i hope they sink or drown, because they have no experience doing what they do, they are by definition terrorists for what they do to those boats, and they have no right to harass them anyway. there are courts for a reason... if they want whaling banned, they need to go through the proper channels, not send a bunch of hippies to the antarctic where they will most likely die if they screw up. they are amateur at best, and that captain is publicity whore retard. he claimed he got "shot" last season, and this year he paid someone to "anonymously" give him white powder in an envelope. he's an idiot, and they are giving steve irwin a bad name.Bernadictus wrote:

if people are complaining so hard about the Japanese whalers, fucking sink them then. until you show that there are consequences for breaking the rules, nobody will listen or care
