Kingston desktop ram isn't that special, but they do make god-like other memories.

I like Kingston RAM. It just works. And works. For years.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Taken out of context, should have deleted my post altogether.

I heard USB 3.0 is not compatible with Vista/7.

XP forever holmes.

Unless you have 3TB drives.....

And actually, you heard wrong. MS are in fact going on and on about all the great new USB features with 7, including "enhanced" USB 3 support.

Surely it's compatible with at least Windows 7. And if it's not compatible with the newer Vista/7 how is it compatible with XP

4-5 times the size of what we would call a reasonable hard drive in 2003. Tech be crazy, yo.

The basic Kingston RAM is hard to beat for the price. I have yet to see even one of their sticks fail. It doesn't do anything extra, it's just cheap and it works.

Yeah they seem to last ages.

I stopped buying from them when their Valueram overclocked the same as the much more expensive hyperx. Even basic competitor sticks beat em in OC now -.-

Kingston ram is cheap and is rock solid at their rated speed. Sure, they don't really OC at all. Personally I haven't OCed ram in ages. The performance impact of overclocked ram is close to nil.
